Election Commission of India released the Final Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Tamil Nadu's voter list.

9.737 million voters' names were removed, reducing the total from 64.11 million to 56.70 million.

740,000 new voters aged 18-19 were added, with continuous updating to begin immediately.

The final roll includes 27.73 million male, 28.96 million female, and 7,617 third-gender voters.
•
Sholinganallur has the highest number of voters (536,000), while Harbor has the fewest (116,000).
