74 Lakh Names Removed: Tamil Nadu's Final Voter List Sees Major Changes

•Election Commission released the final voter list for Tamil Nadu after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.
•A total of 74.07 lakh names were removed from the electoral roll under various categories.
•The total number of voters in Tamil Nadu now stands at 5.67 crore, down from 6.41 crore before SIR.
•7.4 lakh individuals in the 18-19 age group have been added to the voter list for the first time.
•Sholinganallur constituency has the highest number of voters (5,36,991), while Harbor has the lowest (1,16,896).
