World's Largest 210-Ton Shivling Installed at Virat Ramayan Mandir in Bihar
- •A 210-ton, 33-foot-tall Sahasralingam Shivling was installed at the Virat Ramayan Temple in Kesaria, East Champaran, Bihar.
- •The Shivling, envisioned by Acharya Kishore Kunal of Patna Hanuman Temple, is described as the world's largest and was built over 10 years in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, at a cost of approximately 3 crore rupees.
- •It features 1008 small Shivlings, is made of black granite, and will stand 56 feet tall from the ground after being placed on a 23-foot platform.
- •The installation took place on Magh Shivratri, a significant day for Lord Shiva, with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar expected to attend.
- •Flowers weighing 3250 kg from Kolkata and Cambodia were used for decoration, and 21 priests installed 1072 deities alongside the Shivling.
