NTPC Green Energy Boosts Solar Capacity in Gujarat, Nears 9 GW Mark

•NTPC Green Energy Limited commenced commercial operations of an additional 165 MW capacity at its Khavda-II Solar PV project in Gujarat.
•This 165 MW is the second part capacity of the 1,200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV project.
•Following this commissioning, the total commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group reached 8,992.68 MW.
•The Khavda project is located in Gujarat’s Kutch district, a hub for large-scale renewable energy installations.
•NTPC Green Energy reported a 73% decline in net profit for the December quarter, but revenue increased by 29.4%.
