RVNL Secures ₹88 Crore South Eastern Railway Order for IP-Based Video Surveillance

• Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) won an ₹87.56 crore (excluding GST) contract from South Eastern Railway.
• The order is for supplying, installing, and commissioning an IP-based Video Surveillance System (VSS) in LHB coaches.
• Each coach will be equipped with four cameras, rugged hand-held terminals, and 8 TB external SSDs, adhering to RDSO Specification.
• The project, awarded via a domestic e-tender, is to be completed within 10 months.
• RVNL also recently secured a ₹201.23 crore project from East Coast Railway for a wagon periodical overhaul workshop at Kantabanji.
