RVNL Secures ₹88 Crore South Eastern Railway Order for Video Surveillance Systems

• Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) won an ₹87.56 crore (excluding GST) contract from South Eastern Railway.
• The order involves supplying, installing, and commissioning IP-Based Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) in LHB coaches.
• Each coach will be fitted with four cameras, a rugged hand-held terminal, and an 8 TB external SSD, adhering to RDSO specifications.
• The project is expected to be completed within 10 months from the purchase order date.
• RVNL also secured a ₹201.23 crore project from East Coast Railway last month for a Wagon POH workshop in Kantabanji.
