India's First Air Taxi Ready: Fly to Office, School in Cities by 2028

India's first air taxi is ready for urban travel, aiming to ease commutes to offices and schools.
•
The 'Made in India' air taxi, built by 'ePlane' in collaboration with IIT Madras, can carry three people (one pilot, two passengers).
•
Approved by the Indian government, it will be operational by 2028, starting in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Pune, and Bengaluru.
•
A small model has already flown 9000 kilometers, confirming the success of the experiment.
•
ePlane is also developing air ambulances to bypass traffic and ensure timely medical transport.
