Munger-Mirzachauki Four-Lane in Bhagalpur: 85% Done, Opens June 2026 for Faster Travel

•The 124 km Munger-Mirzachauki four-lane road, passing through Bhagalpur, is 85% complete.
•Aims to ease travel from Munger to Jharkhand, reducing the current 4-5 hour journey via NH 80 to about 3 hours.
•Expected to be fully operational by June 2026, with some bridge, culvert, and toll plaza work remaining.
•The new greenfield road will alleviate traffic pressure on NH 80 and resolve traffic jam issues.
•It will connect Khagaria via Sultanganj bridge and the Kosi Seemanchal region via Vikramshila bridge.
