Kashi Vishwanath & Vindhyachal Pilgrimage Closer: New ROBs Cut Travel Time

• Indian Railways' new Road Over Bridges (ROBs) significantly reduce travel time between Kashi Vishwanath and Vindhyachal.
• The ROB at Kachhwa Road Station yard, completed four months early, connects Varanasi to Mirzapur, Chunar, and Vindhyachal faster.
• Travel from Varanasi to Mirzapur now takes 1.25 hours, down from 1.5-2 hours, benefiting devotees visiting Maa Vindhyavasini Temple.
• Another ROB between Kadipur and Sarnath stations strengthens connectivity between Chaubepur and Babatpur areas.
• These ROBs, costing around 36-37 crore rupees, enhance road safety, eliminate level crossing accidents, and boost tourism.
