Najafgarh Drain Highway: 61 KM Corridor Work Begins May 2026, Delhi-Gurugram Travel Boost

• Work on the 61 KM Najafgarh Drain Corridor, costing 454 crore rupees, to begin in May 2026.
• Project aims to connect Dwarka, Najafgarh, and Uttam Nagar to Outer Ring Road and Delhi Airport.
• Expected to be completed by November 2027, significantly reducing travel time between Delhi and Gurugram.
• Features a 7-meter wide paved road, separate tracks for pedestrians/cyclists, and a new bridge near Dwarka Metro Yard.
• Led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the project will enhance connectivity and reduce traffic congestion and pollution.
