10-Tonne Iron Bridge Stolen in Chhattisgarh's Korba; 5 Arrested, 10 Absconding
- •A 70-foot, 10-tonne iron pedestrian bridge, built over 40 years ago in Korba, Chhattisgarh, was stolen overnight.
- •The bridge, located over the Hasdeo Left Canal in Dhodhipara, Ward No. 17, was dismantled using gas cutters to be sold as scrap.
- •Police have identified 15 individuals involved in the theft and have arrested five: Lochan Kevat, Jaysingh Rajput, Moti Prajapati, Sumit Sahu, and Keshavpuri Goswami.
- •The alleged masterminds, Mukesh Sahu and Aslam Khan, along with eight others, are currently absconding, with police actively searching for them.
