Suvendu vs Mamata in Bhabanipur: BJP releases first list of 144 candidates for Bengal polls

BJP announced its first list of 144 candidates for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections.
•
Former Lok Sabha member Suvendu Adhikari will contest from Bhabanipur against Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee.
•
Adhikari will also fight from his incumbent Nandigram constituency.
•
Agni Mitra Paul has been fielded from South Asansol.
•
Polling for the 294-seat assembly will be held in two phases on April 23 and April 29, with results declared on May 4.
