Son Burns Father Alive in Drunken Rage Over Dispute; Father Dies

• A son, Sagar Bhalerao (28), allegedly poured petrol on his elderly father, Ravindra Bhalerao (61), and set him on fire in Pune's Dandekar Bridge area.
• The incident occurred on Saturday night after a minor domestic dispute escalated while both father and son were under the influence of alcohol.
• Ravindra Bhalerao sustained severe burns (over 50% charred) and was admitted to Sassoon Hospital by his son.
• Despite five days of treatment, Ravindra Bhalerao succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday night, February 11.
• Parvati Police initially registered an injury case, which was later converted to a murder case against Sagar under IPC Section 103 following the father's death.
