Big Boost for Farmers: Govt to Procure Record Wheat, MSP Up by ₹160/Quintal

•Government targets 3.03 crore tonnes wheat procurement for RMS 2026-27, significantly higher than last year.
•Minimum Support Price (MSP) for wheat increased by ₹160 per quintal, now ₹2,585, benefiting farmers.
•Record wheat production expected up to 12 crore tonnes due to extensive sowing and favorable weather conditions.
•Paddy procurement for Rabi 2025-26 estimated at 76 lakh tonnes; coarse grains at 7.79 lakh tonnes.
•FCI wheat stock to reach 1.82 crore tonnes by April 1, 2026; export ban lifted, increasing demand.
