•Speed trials were conducted on the Mariani-Simlaguri section to increase sectional speed from 100 kmph to 110 kmph, reducing transit times.
•New staff quarters and a railway playground were inaugurated at Simlaguri, alongside inspections of bridges, track maintenance, and a Traction Sub-Station.
