Jodhpur Division Installs CCTV at Railway Gates for Live Monitoring, Enhancing Safety

• Jodhpur Division of North Western Railway launches CCTV-based monitoring at non-interlocked level crossings (LC Gates).
• This is the first such innovation in the North Western Railway Zone, providing accurate information on sensitive gates.
• Initially implemented at LC Gate No. 37 (Tinwari-Osian) and LC Gate No. 152 (Jajiwal-Asaranada) with TVU less than 10,000.
• Four high-definition fixed CCTV cameras installed at each gate, linked to station masters for real-time monitoring.
• A centralized monitoring system in the Engineering Control Office allows DRM and senior officials to view gate status, aiming to prevent accidents and enhance safety.
