Musi River Rejuvenation: Hyderabad to Get Parks, Roads, 150m Gandhi Statue

Telangana government plans a massive Musi River rejuvenation project to transform the polluted river into a world-class tourism and economic hub.
•
Project includes wide roads, attractive parks, footpaths, cycling tracks, and 15 new bridges along the river.
•
A 150-meter tall Mahatma Gandhi statue and "Gandhi Sarovar" project will be built at Bapu Ghat, costing Rs. 400 crores on 34 acres.
•
Silt removal, riverbank rectification, children's parks, hotels, and amphitheaters are also part of the comprehensive development plan.
•
CM Revanth Reddy will hold a special meeting on the 13th to unveil full project details with environmentalists, ambassadors, and stakeholders.
