DoT Directs Noida Airport to Grant RoW to Telcos for Network Deployment

•Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has instructed Noida International Airport to provide Right of Way (RoW) permissions to telecom service providers.
•Noida Airport is classified as a “public entity” under the Telecommunications Act, 2023, requiring compliance with telecom infrastructure deployment rules.
•The directive, issued in a letter dated February 19, 2026, to Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL), follows similar instructions to Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) for Navi Mumbai International Airport.
•The Telecommunications Act, 2023, and RoW Rules, 2024, mandate public entities to process RoW applications transparently and within timelines.
•This move aims to streamline telecom infrastructure rollout in high-footfall areas like airports, facilitating 5G and next-generation network expansion.
