Railways Launches Special Train for Ayodhya Pilgrims, Eases Travel for Devotees

• Indian Railways introduces a new special train (09097/09098) connecting Udhna Junction to Ayodhya Cantt to manage crowds and facilitate pilgrims.
• The special train will run weekly from February 2026 to March 2026, offering direct connectivity with 24 coaches including AC, Sleeper, and General categories.
• It will depart from Udhna every Tuesday and from Ayodhya Cantt every Wednesday, passing through major junctions like Vadodara, Kota, Kanpur Central, and Lucknow.
• Timings for the Sabarmati-Agra Cantt Express (12548) and Sabarmati-Gwalior Express (22548) have been revised, effective from February 2026.
• These changes aim to improve train occupancy, increase average speed, and strengthen the Gujarat-North India corridor, benefiting devotees traveling to Ayodhya.
