Yogi Govt to Build 5 High-Tech Townships in Western UP with ₹3000 Crore Investment
- •The Yogi government has allocated ₹3000 crore to develop five new high-tech townships in Western Uttar Pradesh.
- •These townships aim to meet the demand for affordable homes in Agra, Mathura-Vrindavan, Moradabad, and Baghpat.
- •Moradabad receives the largest share with ₹1,373 crore for a 1,250-acre residential layout, acquiring land from over a dozen villages in the Didaura area.
- •Mathura will get two townships in Chhata and Rahimpur areas with a budget of ₹780 crore, while Agra's Rahan Kalan area will see a ₹750 crore investment.
- •The new townships will feature modern amenities including road networks, sewerage systems, drinking water supply, electricity, and offer both flats and row houses.
