Full-Grown Leopard Caught in Dooars Tea Garden Cage; Panic Subsides Among Workers

• A full-grown leopard was caught in a cage set by the forest department in section 29 of Debpara tea garden, Banarhat block, Dooars.
• Workers had reported leopard movement for several days, causing widespread panic, prompting the forest department to set up a cage.
• The Binnaguri wildlife rescue team used a goat as bait, and the leopard was found trapped on Monday morning.
• Forest workers from the Diana Range and the rescue team rescued the leopard and took it to Gorumara National Park for a health check-up.
