Kalna Hospital Launches Evening OPD: First in Purba Bardhaman District!

• Kalna Sub-divisional Hospital introduces evening outdoor service, a first for Purba Bardhaman district.
• Dr. Swapan Soren, Director of Health Services, West Bengal, inaugurated the service on Saturday.
• The service will run from 4 PM to 6 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, initially covering Gynaecology, Paediatrics, and Medicine.
• Aims to benefit working individuals and farmers, reducing the need for daytime leave and easing patient load during regular hours.
• The initiative is currently experimental, with potential for future expansion based on patient response.
