Amrit Bharat Scheme Transforms 180 Stations; AP, Telangana Get Modern Hubs

• Amrit Bharat Station Scheme modernizes 180 railway stations nationwide, with 8 new ones recently completed.
• Nidadavolu (Andhra Pradesh) and Ramagundam (Telangana) are among the latest stations to receive upgrades.
• Stations now feature modern buildings, improved platforms, lifts, escalators, and facilities for disabled passengers.
• Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlights ₹2,52,200 crore allocation for FY 2025–26, an 8x increase from FY 2014–15.
• A total of 4 stations in Telangana and 6 in Andhra Pradesh have been reconstructed, offering world-class facilities.
