Lakshmir Bhandar funds were deposited in 7020 accounts in Moyna Bagcha in February after a PIL.

A public interest litigation was filed in Kolkata High Court last month due to months of non-receipt of funds.
•
Funds stopped depositing from August, affecting over seven thousand beneficiaries in Bagcha Gram Panchayat.
•
High Court sought a report from the state on how beneficiaries will receive outstanding funds from August to January.
•
The Chief Justice Division Bench will hear the case again after 3 weeks.
