•IMD warns of Kalbaishakhi with strong winds, thunderstorms, and rain across Bengal today and tomorrow.
•A double low-pressure trough from Bihar to Manipur and Gangetic West Bengal will bring moisture, thunderclouds, and hailstorms.
•North Bengal districts to experience gusty winds up to 60 kmph, especially Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, and Jalpaiguri.
•South Bengal, including Kolkata, Nadia, Hooghly, Howrah, and 24 Parganas, will see winds of 50-60 kmph and hailstorms in some areas.
•Temperatures to rise significantly after Wednesday, with Kolkata reaching 36-37 degrees Celsius and western districts hitting 40 degrees by early April.
