•S.K.S. Fasteners Limited in Chakan lost Rs 8,81,942 in an online fraud.
•An unknown individual created a fake email ID mimicking the company's official one.
•The fraud occurred during a transaction between S.K.S. Fasteners and a Chinese company.
•The scammer diverted funds to their own account between November 18, 2024, and April 18, 2025.
•Chakan Police registered a case and are tracing the IP addresses of the fake emails.
