•Historic 10,217 crore rupee agreement signed for 'Pimpalpada-Savale Pumped Hydroelectric Project' on Pune-Raigad border.
•Project to create 2,500 direct jobs, boosting employment for local youth.
•Developed by Chambéry Power (EDF Solution Private Limited) on a PPP basis, generating 2100 MW power.
•Part of Maharashtra's plan for 55 hydroelectric projects, aiming for 78,215 MW and 4.17 lakh crore investment.
•CM Devendra Fadnavis states this investment will accelerate state's industrial development and economic progress.
