Odisha CM announces ₹330 crore for Ekamra project revival at Lingaraj temple

• The Ekamra project, launched in 2019 by the previous government, was stalled during the COVID pandemic.
• The project aims to develop Ekamra Kshetra, the abode of Lord Shiva, boosting spiritual tourism in Odisha.
• Phase one involves ₹180 crore for development and beautification, while phase two includes an interpretation centre and peripheral work for ₹150 crore.
• The revived project, to be completed by March 2027, will include a large Lord Shiva statue, an interpretation centre, and redevelopment of Bindu Sagar tank.
