Kiuchenghan Phukon, 7, from Assam, became the youngest swimmer to complete the 13-kilometer Mumbai sea route.

She swam from Elephanta Island to the Gateway of India in 3 hours and 29 minutes on February 4.
•
Kiuchenghan is also the first female swimmer from Northeast India to successfully complete this challenging route.

Despite strong currents and unpredictable sea conditions, she displayed remarkable focus and strength.

Her achievement has brought immense pride to Assam and the nation, receiving praise from sports officials and ministers.
