64 Lakh Delhiites Get Subsidized Food Grains, Free Rations Till 2028

Over 64 lakh people in Delhi receive subsidized food grains through the Public Distribution System (PDS).
•
The government has extended free ration distribution until December 2028.
•
62.46 lakh beneficiaries are under the Priority Household (PHH) category, and 2.46 lakh under Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY).
•
AAY cardholders receive 28 kg wheat, 7 kg rice, 1 kg sugar; PHH beneficiaries get 4 kg wheat, 1 kg rice per unit.
•
Food grains are supplied via six FCI godowns and managed across 13 districts and 70 circles.
