Bangladesh's Outgoing CA Yunus Bids Farewell Ahead of New Government

•Outgoing Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus bid farewell to staff and Army chief Gen Waker-Uz-Zaman.
•Yunus thanked the Army chief for the armed forces' cooperation during the general election.
•His tenure ends with the swearing-in of the new government led by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
•BNP, led by Tarique Rahman, secured 209 out of 297 seats in the 13th Parliamentary elections.
•Tarique Rahman is set to become Prime Minister, replacing Yunus, whose tenure saw strained India-Dhaka relations.
