Political parties appealed for communal harmony and mutual respect, followed by a peace rally.

Eight people, including two policemen, were injured in the Gaur incident.
•
Curfew in Birgunj Metropolitan City, imposed due to a parking dispute, was also lifted as normalcy returned.
