Meghalaya's Garo Hills: Curfew Relaxed for Church Services Amidst Violence

•Curfew in Meghalaya’s Garo Hills relaxed for 12 hours on Sunday, March 15, to allow church services and essential activities.
•Relaxation from 6 am to 6 pm in West Garo Hills (DM Vibhor Agarwal) and East Garo Hills (DM R P Marak).
•Curfew was imposed following recent violence and protests over GHADC polls eligibility, which claimed two lives.
•Williamnagar Main Bazaar will remain closed during the relaxation; essential services personnel are exempted.
•Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma announced the postponement of GHADC elections, originally scheduled for April 10.
