Deendayal Port Authority scripts history: 150 MMT cargo handled, fastest ever for Indian Major Ports

Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla, achieved a historic milestone by handling over 150 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo.
•
This makes it the fastest-ever 150 MMT in the history of Indian Major Ports, achieved with 18 days remaining in the current fiscal year.
•
DPA Chairman Sushil Kumar Singh attributed the success to operational excellence, efficient logistics, and seamless maritime services.
•
The Port maintains operational resilience despite geopolitical situations and expects to handle over 35 vessels in the next 72 hours.
•
Chairman Singh thanked PM Modi, linking the achievement to the Viksit Bharat@2047 vision and India's growing maritime strength.
