India's first fully digital Flood Relief System launched, eliminating middlemen and ensuring direct online transfers with transparency.
•
The digital system enabled funds to reach beneficiaries within months, significantly faster than previous 6-12 month delays.
•
371 flood protection works worth over Rs 1,500 crore identified; 142 works (Rs 489 crore) targeted for completion by March 31, 2026.
•
A structured river desilting program launched, and 3,000 km of drains cleaned to strengthen long-term flood resilience.
