Jharkhand Man Dies by Suicide in Police Station After Wife's Complaint

• A 40-year-old man, Vijay Yadav, died by suicide inside a police station in Koderma, Jharkhand.
• He was detained after his wife, Chameli Devi, complained he assaulted her under alcohol influence.
• Yadav allegedly used a thread garland (mala) to end his life during a brief absence of police personnel.
• Doctors declared him brought dead at Sadar Hospital, citing hanging as the cause of death.
• An inquiry committee, headed by DSP (Headquarters) Ratibhan Singh, has been formed to probe the incident.
