Male Rhino Found Dead in Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary; Horn Secured

• A male rhinoceros carcass was recovered from Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary in Assam's Morigaon district.
• Forest officials confirmed the rhino, aged about 40, died of natural causes.
• The horn was recovered for safekeeping after the necessary post-mortem.
• In a separate incident, a forest homeguard was killed and another injured by a rhino in Kaziranga National Park.
• The deceased homeguard, Sahabuddin, was attacked near Bordoloni Forest Camp in Kohora Range while on duty.
