Odisha CM: 7.68 Lakh Voters Deleted from Electoral Roll Since June 2023

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced that 7.68 lakh voters were deleted from the electoral roll between June 2023 and March 22, 2024.
•
The deletions include 2,03,396 deceased persons.
•
Additionally, 4,08,132 voters were removed due to transfers.
•
1,54,318 voters were deleted for having their names in multiple places.
•
Another 2,646 voters were removed for other reasons; 5,67,034 new applications for enrollment were received.
