Odisha CM: 7.68 Lakh Voters Deleted from Electoral Roll Since June 2023

• Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced that 7.68 lakh voters were deleted from the electoral roll between June 2023 and March 22, 2024.
• The deletions include 2,03,396 deceased persons.
• Additionally, 4,08,132 voters were removed due to transfers.
• 1,54,318 voters were deleted for having their names in multiple places.
• Another 2,646 voters were removed for other reasons; 5,67,034 new applications for enrollment were received.
