Kotak Mahindra Prime Appoints Suraj Rajappan as MD & CEO

• Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited has appointed Suraj Rajappan as its MD & CEO for a three-year term, effective June 1, 2026, pending shareholder approval.
• The decision was made at the company’s Board meeting on March 18, 2026.
• Rajappan, currently a Whole-time Director, brings 24 years of experience, having started his career with the firm.
• He will succeed Shahrukh Todiwala, who superannuates on May 31, 2026, after over 30 years with the Kotak Group.
• The Board also approved increasing the company’s outstanding debt limit from Rs 43,000 crore to Rs 48,000 crore.
