Kolkata Housing Market Slows: Registrations Down 41% in January 2026

• Experts attribute the slowdown to a typical post-December rush dip, not a permanent drop in demand.
• Demand for mid-sized flats (501-1,000 sq ft) increased significantly, accounting for 59% of registrations.
