Designed for 120 kmph, the 4-lane access-controlled road will serve as the backbone for the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor.

Features include 17 major flyovers, 41 underpasses, and a 30-acre 'Way-Side Amenity' with a trauma center and helipad.
