BHEL Shares Surge on ₹1,500 Crore Hindalco Order for Odisha Project

• Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) secured an order worth ₹1,200-1,500 crore from Hindalco Industries.
• The order is for the Aditya Expansion Project Phase II located in Lapanga, Sambalpur district, Odisha.
• BHEL will provide a 2 × 150 MW BTG (Boiler Turbine Generator) package, including design, engineering, supply, installation, commissioning, and performance acceptance testing.
• Unit 1 is slated for commissioning within 35 months, and Unit 2 within 37 months from the contract's effective date.
• Following the announcement, BHEL shares rose by 0.95% to ₹270.60 on Wednesday.
