NH 333A Bypass Project: Four Districts to Benefit from Reduced Travel Time

• Several bypasses to be constructed on NH 333A from Sheikhpura to Banka-Panjwara, reducing travel distance by 10 km.
• New bypasses planned for Katoria, Lakhpura, Banka, Panjwara, Munger, and Lakhisarai.
• Project cost estimated at 878.25 crore rupees, aiming to alleviate traffic congestion and save time/fuel.
• DPR submitted, proposing a seven-meter wide two-lane road with paved shoulders to replace current five-meter sections.
• Encroachments to be removed and electricity poles shifted to facilitate construction and improve road safety.
