- •The 64 km Western Ring Road, constructed by NHAI, will connect Pithampur to Ujjain via Betma, Hatod, and Sanwer.
- •It is a 6-lane access-controlled highway, allowing vehicles to travel at 100 km/h, built at a cost of 3000 crore rupees.
- •Vehicles from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Ujjain will bypass Indore, reducing congestion at MR-10 and Lavkush intersections by 60-70%.
- •Work on the 77 km Eastern Ring Road, also by NHAI, will soon begin, completing the Greater Ring Road project around Indore.
