Andhra Police Shame: Inspector, SI Caught Red-Handed in ₹3 Lakh Bribe for Chain Snatcher

•Two senior police officers, CI NV Ramana and SI Dasari Anil Kumar, arrested by ACB in YSR Kadapa for accepting a ₹3 lakh bribe.
•Bribe was demanded to protect an accused involved in chain-snatching cases, linked to a gang selling stolen motorcycles.
•The accused, pressured for the remaining ₹3 lakh, complained to the ACB, leading to a trap and their arrest.
•ACB also conducted operations in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram, arresting a Mandal Education Officer and a VRO for bribery.
•Under DG Atul Singh, ACB has intensified its anti-corruption drive, registering 115 cases in 2025, with 69 caught red-handed.
