NPS New Rules: Withdraw 100% of Your Money! PFRDA Changes Benefit Subscribers

• PFRDA has updated NPS rules in December 2025, allowing 100% corpus withdrawal in specific situations.
• At retirement (age 60+), if the corpus is 8 lakh or less, the entire amount can be withdrawn as a lump sum; previously, this limit was 5 lakh.
• For premature exit (after 5-year lock-in), if the corpus is 5 lakh or less, 100% can be withdrawn as a lump sum.
• In case of an NPS subscriber's death, the nominee or legal heir receives the entire 100% corpus as a lump sum, regardless of the amount.
• The exit age has been extended up to 85 years, allowing continued investment and withdrawal for longer periods.
