Infertility is rising due to lifestyle changes, late marriages, stress, and environmental factors affecting both men and women.
•
Women's fertility issues include reduced egg quality, PCOD, endometriosis, and blocked fallopian tubes, especially after 35.
•
Men's infertility factors include low sperm count/motility, hormonal imbalance, stress, lack of sleep, smoking, alcohol, and obesity.
•
For conception, 40-300 million sperm/ml is normal; 10-20 million/ml is considered 'low sperm count'. Over 30 million/ml is ideal for pregnancy.
•
To improve sperm count: lose weight, eat healthy (green vegetables, fruits, dry fruits, protein), exercise, avoid smoking/alcohol, reduce stress, and ensure adequate sleep.
