Equipped with indigenous 'Abhay' hull-mounted sonar, low-frequency variable depth sonar, modern radar, and electronic warfare suite.

Carries RBU-6000 anti-submarine rocket launchers, triple-tube torpedo launchers, 30mm CIWS, and 12.7mm remote-controlled gun.
•
A 'Make in India' success with over 80% indigenous content, built by GRSE and L&T, costing 6,311 crore for eight ships.
