Yunus Resumes NGO Work After 18-Month Interim Government Tenure

Muhammad Yunus returns to Yunus Centre after serving 18 months as chief adviser to Bangladesh's interim government.
•
The Nobel laureate was warmly welcomed by colleagues at the Yunus Centre office in Mirpur.
•
He met with managing directors and advisers to review paused initiatives and plan future projects.
•
Yunus is expected to vacate his government residence and return to his Gulshan home by month-end.
•
He stepped down on February 16 after the formation of a newly elected government following BNP's victory.
