Captive, Commercial Coal Mines Surpass 200 MT Production This Fiscal

•Coal production from captive and commercial mines exceeded 200 million tonnes in the current financial year, as of March 11.
•Captive and commercial coal mines alone contributed 194.17 MT to this total.
•Other mines accounted for 6.06 MT of the overall production.
•Coal dispatch also saw a 7.71% year-on-year growth, rising from 182.98 MT to 197.09 MT.
•The Ministry of Coal released this data on Friday.
